Can we take a moment to appreciate @caitlinalcockk lashes?! Caitlin’s been a regular of mine for years, and her lashes always lifted well with a traditional lash lift but they were stubborn, so we switched her over to the Korean technique and the results did not disappoint 😍

Finding a shield to suit her lash length for the Korean technique was a bit of a challenge, but the 4.5XL universal shield from @maxymova_official fit perfectly 🙌🏼

Timing is only a guide - lash checks are essential! ✨

Every lash processes differently, which is why lash checks should always be carried out before removing step 1 and 2. For the first step, the lashes should bend like a V or slim U shape, and for step 2, the lashes should spring straight back into place.

Doing these checks are the key to achieving consistent results every time!

My client Phoebe has always had a signature or hybrid brow, so I was super excited to laminate them for the first time 🙌🏼 The brief was a soft, fluffy lami with a dark tint 😍

Phoebe has naturally lovely, full brows, but they have a little less density at the top of the brow and arch area. Laminating them has helped to lift and realign the hairs, creating a more balanced shape and fuller look! ✨

Had the best day yesterday at @thebrownetwork! Jo @thebrowsurgery, Katie @theebeautybarn and Lauren @totalbeautylauren who arranged the event absolutely smashed it and made it an experience never to forget ♥️ So much thought went into it, and the small details made it all the more special.

What shields work best for hooded eyelids? 👇🏼

When working with hooded eyelids, using the correct shield is essential! Flat and teardrop shields, for example, are designed to give a dramatic lift from the root. This could lead to the lashes hitting the client’s eyelids and causing irritation. Round shields will work much better for this eye type, as the curl will go around the eyelid rather than hitting it. This will give a softer, more balanced lift that beautifully compliments hooded eyes. You could also use hybrid shields, but you’d very likely need to size up so there is a bigger curve ✨

Yesterday was a day I’ll never forget 🥹 A huge shoutout to Becky for bringing the @refine_and_define_event to life, you absolutely smashed it!

I had the honour of being one of five demonstrators, and every person up there killed it! I’m so proud and grateful to have shared that space with such talented, inspiring people ♥️

For me, this was the scariest thing I’ve ever done. I’m not naturally confident in new social settings, and the thought of standing up in front of a room full of people to demo felt overwhelming. I started off nervous, shaky, and full of doubt. But then something shifted. The room was so kind, the energy so warm and encouraging and I slowly found my feet.

By the end I wasn’t just getting through it, I was enjoying it! This experience reminded me how much growth happens on the other side of fear 🫶🏻
